A Case of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus During Treatment of Acute Pyelonephritis

Abstract
|
|
|
The normal pressure hydrocephalus in young age is rare.
We report one case of female normal pressure hydrocephalus. She was 30 year-old who was suffered from acute pyelonehpritis.
Physical Exam. revealed mild gait disturbance and mild memory disturbance Chest PA and EKG showed no abnormalities.
The C.S.F pressure was 90mm H2O and the chemistry of C.S.F. was non-specific finding. The Brain C.T. showed masked dilatation of both ventricles. .
The pt. was treated conservatively and discharged with recommendation of careful follow up.
